- Warlock: He is a warlock, some people don't like it, some really don't like it, and others don't mind. Not only that, but he ran into some problems with the warlocks of Stormwind recently and has been stealing books from the ones in Ironforge. Maybe some people wouldn't be very happy it.
- Wait we can't do that!: You're looking for someone to do something fun and dangerous? He's your guy!
Appearance
Sandy is thin, with sunken cheeks, and his muscles aren't defined at all. His hair is usually down, and he has a anchor beard.
His irises have a slight green glow, which betrays his work with the Fel.
Not the best fashion-wise, you'll often see Sandy wearing outfits that would make some stylish people scream in horror. These include pirate outfits with sandals and shorts. His wardrobe is full of shorts.
Personality
Sandy was an impulsive, happy-go-lucky warlock, who loved to have fun.
He had a lot of trust in other people and always tried to make friends, even if said friends were actually demons! Sandy thought there is good, or potential for good, in every single living thing.
Sandy didn't always think things through, whether it's his actions or his words, and therefore often ends up saying or doing… not the brightest things.
Recent events have impacted him greatly, and Sandy is now less optimistic than he used to be. He reconsiders strongly his powers as a warlock, and barely, if ever summons his demons.
History
Sandy was born to Therald A. Oakley and Sirie Netelle near Lordaeron almost 20 years ago. After an incident that split his family, he was found as a baby amongst ruins of the second war by a young Wildhammer Dwarf, Fulmurar, who got lost while protecting him. Both were found by Ekorenine Spellbond, a mage woman of noble birth from Stormwind, who sheltered both and eventually welcomed the two of them into her family.
With his very lenient adoptive mother, Sandy grew up to be very carefree and slightly lazy. After the disappearance of his brother Fulmurar, which took a toll on him emotionally, he wanted to make some new friends but wouldn't leave his home. Not wanting to compete with his other brothers, Ekorenine's biological sons, who all pursued magic or priesthood, he turned to something different that, he thought, wouldn't include as much studying or training. This is why he became a warlock.
His mother, a bit tired of seeing him always sitting at home heard of Elohad and his mercenary company, and registered her son into the Cobalt Company. He helped them for a long time as a member of the main Squads, until he used his warlock powers to temporarily turn into a demon, without warning his teammates. Then, he was removed from the forward Squads, and started doubting his powers as a warlock.
During his time with the Cobalt Company, Sandy reconnected with his biological parents. After being held captive by Helyn Darkwood for a few weeks, as she thought him responsible for a crime committed by Sirie, the young man has lost parts of his enthusiasm. He's a little more closed off and less confident in himself. He's trying to go back to a normal life, since.
Relationships
Gwenivene Sandy's girlfriend. He thinks she's brilliant and beautiful and kind! As she's always extremely supportive (she even helped him reunite with his father) Sandy hopes to be just as good to her as she is to him.
Elohad Ference Friend. Sandy admires Elohad a lot, even though he's a bit strict and often has to tell him that he shouldn't do some things. He trusts in his judgment (mostly).
Niris Ference Friend. Sandy thinks she's amazing, but she's even stricter than Elo, so he's a bit afraid of her. He doesn't really listen to her common-sense advice, but he generally does that to help in one way or another.
Cressidha Aspenwood Friend. He really likes Cress, even if she's a little too proper. He notices that she sometimes seems amused by shenanigans, and he appreciates it! He'd like to get her on a fun, random adventure outside of what he feels is her comfort zone, one day.
Dane Atley Friend. Dane is like his fifth big brother. He knows he can rely on him, even though he looks scary when he's angry and they don't agree on a lot of things. Sandy is susceptible to Dane's peer pressure.
Nilunelle Mistwalker His night elf friend! They're around the same age and bonded regardless of his path in magic. They're kind of keeping their friendship a secret from Nilu's mother, though.
Jocoza Sparkwire Friend. He has a lot of appreciation for her. He feels very grateful for her support and really likes to hang out with her.
Auralind Mistwalker Friend. Of all the responsible adults in the Company, Auralind is the one Sandy struggles with the most. She's very critical of warlocks and already told him many times, which has upset him at times. Nonetheless, he really wants to hear her call him a friend. He tried to hug her, once. She said "no" in a very cool way.
Oranna Stormbreaker Friend. Similar to his relationship with Jo, Sandy feels very supported by Oranna and is very grateful for it. He believes she's really sweet and thinks she has a very comforting aura.
Ivrianna Barlowe Friend. Ivri is like Sandy's cool big sister and he admires her a lot. She made fun of his knees, once, and he hasn't forgotten it.
Therald A. Oakley Sandy's biological father. They've been reunited, and Sandy is taking a little bit of time to adjust to having his father again. They used to see each other regularly, but Therald's past with warlocks has driven them apart.
Sirie Netelle Sandy's biological mother. They started exchanging letters. This went on for a while until they met and Sirie bit him, causing him a grave wound, 'jokingly' trying to prove that being a Forsaken isn't actually contagious. They haven't spoken nor written each other since.
Lena Friend. Lena is Sandy's "student", as a warlock, but he's the one mostly learning from her. Sandy really likes Lena, and sees her as a dear friend.
Helyn Blackwood Not friends. She held him captive for weeks, and Sandy has greatly suffered from it. Still, he wishes to help her be rehabilitated, as he believes Helyn was manipulated by her succubus.
Kupjub Kupjub is born of one soul that was split into several imps by the Legion. He's a prankster who genuinely loves scaring people as well as destroying things. Sandy keeps him under control by giving him harmless things to destroy or by using this need against his own enemies. Kupjub doesn't talk, but he's a wonderful - if disturbing - artist.
Grimnos Grimnos is a voidwalker born of a strong, powerful light having been extinguished. As it only knew cold darkness, Sandy's affection had a huge impact on it. It has a very strong, deep respect for Sandy and would do anything to protect him.
Brynia Brynia is mean and genuinely enjoys seeing the suffering of others. However, she also has a very deep desire for a camaraderie that she has found amongst other demons, especially her Succubus sisters. Before wilfully joining the Legion and being turned into one of them, she was a Highborne named Miarleth that suffered a lot from the constant competition and need to prove that her and her family were better and worthier than everyone else. She ended up hating all of Azeroth for not being strong enough to stop her race, which lead to her view of the Legion as a deliverance.
Nheedom Nheedom is like a puppy. A very energetic, very aggressive puppy. As a creature trained in attacking magic users, he is especially aggressive in their presence. Because of that, Sandy has noticed that many of his friends are very uncomfortable around Nheedom, which is why he rarely summons that demon, which makes him the one he is the least close to.
Juuthun Juuthun is an idiot. A strong, dangerous idiot, but an idiot nonetheless. Sandy has a lot of fun with him because - when he isn't aggressively crushing whoever the warlock tell him to - they get into fun shenanigans, like riding together on Sandy's Felsteed, or having Juuthun carry Sandy in his arms, princess-style.
Selvuzen Just like Brynia, Selvuzen used to live in Azeroth. Unlike her, however, he was a human who didn't join the Legion willingly. Nevertheless, he wasn't particularly missed when he was captured and turned into an incubus during the Third War. He now uses his natural charm to get what he lusts for: his Master's attention and to contemplate his demise.
