RP Hooks

Nobility - Any noble family will know him and his family quite well. The Westbridges have a history of exemplary service to the Alliance as a whole.

Priesthood - Any paladin, priest, or just devout follower of the Light may know him, have been counseled by him, or received training or blessings from him.

The Poors - Eoan is a well-known supporter of The People. He tried to cut your taxes! He wanted to let more people into Stormwind during times of war! What a guy.

Appearance

Eoan is tall and strongly built, with blond hair and blue eyes. He can best be described as 'leonine', with his coloring and his tawny skin. He keeps up his musculature by doing frequent exercising and battle with a heavy mace, eschewing entirely the staff that some priests use. His hair is currently shoulder length and left to swing free, as the King has made long hair fashionable again. This is definitely not a bookish priest, but one that could easily be mistaken for a paladin walking around the Cathedral, were it not for his robes.

Personality

By all appearances, Eoan is a kind but stern priest of the Light. It's well-known he also dabbles in the shadow side, claiming that one must understand well the not only the light of the candle but the darkness it casts if one is to comprehend the flame.

Behind the scenes, where no one sees, Eoan is a master manipulator pitting the factions of Stormwind against each other. What he hopes to obtain with these games is unknown. Perhaps he wants the crown for himself. Perhaps he's an agent of the Horde. Or perhaps he just thinks it's fun.

History

The Westbridge family is a prominent one in Stormwind, and Eoan was born into wealth and priviledge. The patriarch, his father, sat on the House of Nobles. As the youngest of two brothers, Eoan was never expected to be the heir, just the spare. When his brother, Kenton, went into the army's mounted calvary, Eoan was sent into the priesthood.

When the Second War started, the news returned from the battlefield that Kenton had perished, Eoan was recalled from his post as a healer near a foward operating base and began to take up the reins of the Westbridge family. Soon after, his father died as well, some say due to the heartbreak of losing his beloved elder son. Eoan's mother survived several years after, but passed peacefully in her sleep of natural causes.

Of course most of those causes of death are pure fiction, but there's no one alive to say otherwise.

Since taking his father's seat in the House, Eoan has strongly supported the causes of the everyday man, siding with the Stonemasons and the Queen. Upon her death (total accident, no really), he switched sides and became a known advocate for wiping out the current Stonemason's guild. He later begged forgiveness for his bloodlust, citing his eternal devotion to his Queen. He showed no particular favor toward Lady Prestor, supporting her in some instances and opposing her in others. His eye still seemed to be on the everyday citizen.

However, close inspection of his support and the policies he put forward would reveal that some had the potential to be destructive toward Stormwind as a whole; limiting tax increases, agitating for support to be sent to outlying regions like Redridge and Westfall, suggesting that Stormwind increase the number of refugees it was capable of handling. His initial 'concern' about the Death Knights was a simple masquerade, as he agreed to support his king and did so quite ably while still professing to misgivings.
