Appearance
Eldau is tall and has a muscular build - even for a tauren. His fur is colored like sand with only a few darker brown spots throughout his body. His mane is long and dark. Two long, white horns come out the side of his head. He's got a huge ring in his snout, and small trinkets made of natural elements at the tip of his horns. Unlike the typical tauren, Eldau seems to have fangs, even in his true form.
Personality
Eldau is kind, sympathetic and, more importantly, always trying to help to a sometimes annoying extent. Horde and Alliance don't really matter to him - although he's extremely loyal to Cairne Bloodhoof. This is why he's always more than willing to help neutral factions like the Cenarion Circle, which he works closely with. His good sense of humor helps him make friends easily as well. Don't let his generally sunny and friendly demeanor fool you, however. Eldau spent years studying wild animals, and given a good reason to fight, his cold and calculating side appears. Like a feline stalking its next prey.
History
Eldau was born in the Wildmane nomadic tribe, primarily consisting of hunters. He wasn't present when Cairne befriended the orcs, but was amongst the fighters when the orcs helped them make Mulgore their home.
Like the other taurens, he learned druidism from the night elves, and is incredibly grateful to them for the opportunity to learn how to be closer to the Earth Mother. He was an amazing student and learned quickly, finally finding the path the divinity had set him on.
Soon after settling down in Thunder Bluff, Eldau began to say that his talents were wasted by saying in one place. In truth, what happened is that he realized sedentary life was not for him, who had always lived as a nomad. After only a few weeks in the city, he took a few of his belongings and set out in Draenor, hoping to explore this new world and find ways to heal this broken land.
