RP Hooks
- Identity theft: There are a few clues that could help someone discover that Eiradrin isn't the real Eiradrin. The real one didn't use to be as in-shape, athletic and agile, her face, her voice, hair, and personality have somewhat changed since she disappeared, she doesn't actually know much about Jewelcrafting when it used to be her whole life. Most importantly, the hidden peacebloom tattoo she had on the back of her shoulder has disappeared. Some magisters and other people close to somewhat high-ranking members of the government know who she really is.
- Ex-Farstriders: Somewhat related to the last point, she worked with the Farstriders for decades, which means some of them are bound to know her. Her fighting style is also reminiscent of theirs, especially her archery.
- Ex-prisoner: Again, similarly to the last point, she was imprisoned in Silvermoon at some point. She probably had cellmate(s) in there!
- Assassin: When mind control isn't enough to stop agitators in the Blood Elven capital, sometimes Eiradrin is the one called to do the dirty job and dispose of the problematic citizens, using her signature poison.
- Jewelcrafting: She basically has no idea how to create designs for jewels herself. She learned how to make jewels and simply copies others, but since there's a risk that her shop might close as she goes on adventures to "find inspiration", people buy them as fast as they can before they're gone and they get FOMO. She's accidentally a marketing pro! The people she plagiarises might not like it, though.
Appearance
Eiradrin has a fit body with an hourglass figure, which she is extremely proud of, showing it off with a form-fitting, quite revealing fashion sense. Her hair is bright red, long, and wavy. The result of regular dyes, she says. The traits of her face are thin, symmetrical, and almost too perfect. She always wears makeup, with green eyeshadow, and paints her lips with dark red lipstick.
With her secret job as an assassin, it is incredible how scarless her skin is.
Her voice is soft, musical, and deep.
Personality
Eiradrin is an educated, friendly woman, although a bit vain and proud… but which sin'dorei isn't? A real bookworm, Eiradrin is never seen without a book, books she will gladly discuss whenever she has the opportunity. She's also a somewhat flirty woman.
An artist and a traveler, Eiradrin sometimes closes her shop to go explore the world of Azeroth and beyond, hoping to find inspiration for her designs.
That's Eiradrin Silverthorn. Now, let's talk about the real woman who stands here; Asyndra Brightember.
Asyndra is just as sweet as she is when pretending to be Eiradrin, but she's also a brutal fighter. Due to her knowledge of anatomy, the elf uses her agility and speed to stab her enemies just where she wants to, whether she needs them alive or dead.
Her one goal in life is to save the Blood Elf race, which is why she looks down upon everyone else - Alliance or Horde - and has no real loyalty to either faction. Even with 90% of her people gone, she is more than capable of taking missions targeting other Sin'dorei. Other members of her race can be a threat to their own survival, and a dangerous and reckless Blood Elf can be just as expandable as a member of any other race of Azeroth.
Asyndra is extremely interested in shadow magic and believes that learning and harnassing that magic is what will allow the Blood Elves to thrive once more, which is why she uses that magic to coat her weapons in void poisons, and to hide in the shadows like a predator stalking its prey.

Eiradrin Silverthorn was a relatively modest jeweler in Tranquillien, from a commoner family, with a dream to move her shop to the city. This dream would never really come true, however, and not due to a lack of talent, but because of a lack of time. Eiradrin was found dead and/or undead amongst many other elf's bodies after Arthas's attack on Quel'Thalas. The problem is, she was unidentifiable, and this unknown body was disposed of unceremoniously. Although left around with victims of the Scourge, animated or not, it wasn't Arthas and his army who killed her. But then, who did?
I'll let you take a stab at it.
Asyndra Brightember was born in Tranquillien, fifteen years before Eiradrin. She was raised by a Thistlehead, single father, who never spoke once of her mother. Very young Asyndra decided she needed to excel to make a better life for herself than both her parents had left her with. She practiced archery and close-ranged combat, in the hope to join the Farstriders, and the rest of the time she wasn't spending practicing, she was in Silvermoon's library, away from her home. Asyndra, as soon as she reached adulthood, fulfilled her dream and became a ranger of Silvermoon! Over the years, her skill with a bow and blades became sharper, and she grew in ranks amongst the Farstriders. She was known as the Rose of Silvermoon.
But Asyndra always had a fascination. An obsession, you could say. She was intrigued by shadow magic and began researching it. How to weaponize it.
Not only did she discover how to use shadow magic to disappear and sneak around, she eventually found a way to coat her weapons in shadows, making a potent poison that would devour its target from the inside. Now, that was a discovery! If only they'd done this research before, the Troll Wars wouldn't have lasted as long. Not even a troll's incredible regenerative abilities could have saved them from this! She knew shadow magic was somewhat frowned upon, though, and decided to keep this poison a secret to reveal only once she had a real reason to do so. Mentioning that it would have been extremely useful before just wasn't going to cut it.
Unfortunately, her little project was discovered just a few years too soon, and Asyndra was arrested, considered a danger, like one of these Old Gods worshiping cultists, just because she was doing research in their books!
She spent the next few years in prison, waiting for a time she could escape. And that day came when the Scourge attacked her precious city! Just this once, she decided to put herself before the good of her people. She took advantage of the chaos, escaped, killed a girl she knew, and threw her corpse to the undead ghouls. Sneaking through the Ghostlands and all throughout Azeroth, Asyndra finally reached Booty Bay, where she drew a portrait of the girl she had killed (with some… embellishment), and asked Goblins to use their technology on her to make her face exactly like the girl's. She kept her bright red hair, though, as what would the Rose of Silvermoon be without her red petals?
After the Third War was over, she traveled back home, pretending to be the innocent Eiradrin Silverthorn, and fulfilled the girl's dream. The shop "Silvermoon's Thorns" had its grand opening in the city.
Asyndra couldn't fool everyone, though, and some magisters could see through her disguise. Eiradrin's real identity is a well-kept secret amongst high-ranking members of the government and it'll stay that way… as long as she keeps using her shadow poison on the people who threaten the fragile balance of Silvermoon City, whenever mind control proves to not be enough.
