Church of the Holy Light: She joined the Church in August Year 27, and is a priest novice.
Nobility of Stormwind: Any noble can potentially know her. She's very social.
Appearance
Dara is a woman in her late twenties, with long dark hair that she often wears curled short, soft dark hair (thanks to being temporarily incinerated by a certain Deathwing), fair skin and light greenish-blue eyes. She is slender but fairly soft, from a largely non-physical lifestyle, and is quite adept at fashion, both in terms of color and cut and in terms of playing up her rather conventionally attractive figure. She is always perfectly made up. Her hands are smooth from lack of work, but there are permanent calluses on her fingertips from her music practice.
In recent days, she's taken to adventuring with her dear paladin friend Sophiette, and has started up an exercise regimen (in addition to all the walking they do). She hopes to grow more fit and have more stamina with time.
Personality
Capricious - Compassionate - Extroverted - Active
Dara adores the social aspect of being a noblewoman, and is always eager to make new friends. She has been, until recently, simply a rich, sheltered, playful young woman. As the years go by and no marriage match is made for her, she has begun to lean harder on flirting, and on very politely promoting her physical assets to potential suitors. She also has a desire to help the less fortunate, which she tentatively started exploring in community service in Stormwind.
After a romantic misadventure with a nobleman who shall remain nameless, she may seem a little less sheltered and a less willing flirt. She has begun to dedicate herself more deeply to service, and less to social games. Rather than a spouse, she's considered that perhaps it might be more worthwhile to secure a purpose. But also maybe a spouse would be good, too.
This character is unavailable for romance.
History
Dara is the youngest child of the Tennerow family, a Count-level noble House of the Redridge mountains. Dara was three years old when Redridge fell to the orcs, and her family fled to Lordaeron. She, her two older brothers, and her mother established a househould there and built ties with Lordaeron nobles, such as House Valonforth. Dara herself was betrothed to the Valonforth son, Lyonel. The two children often visited and became close friends, and young Dara was happy with their planned future marriage. In the meantime, her father was in active military service for the First and Second Wars, and unfortunately was killed in a later battle, when Dara was six years old. Her older brother Devon, who was sixteen at the time, took on the title of Lord Tennerow with his mother's support.
During the rebuilding of the southern lands, when Dara was eight, the Tennerows returned to Redridge. In the absence of her father, Dara's mother and her oldest brother Devon were heavily involved in the effort to drive remaining orcs out of the local area. Sadly, the formidable Lady Tennerow was killed in an orc skirmish when Dara was ten years old. The household was secured, though, and Dara continued a peaceful life under the guardianship of her oldest brother. Once she was old enough to live alone, she took up residence in Stormwind City rather than remaining at the Redridge estate.
When Dara was twenty, the Third War broke out. House Valonforth's fortunes changed dramatically for the worse, and her fiance (now going by the name Sophiette) broke off the engagement. Dara was saddened, but stood by her long-time friend through the grief of losing homeland and loved ones. She applied herself to the Stormwind social scene, and spent the next years building networks and keeping an eye out for a possible new match.
After seven years and no husband appearing, she has begun to stretch her wings outside her socialite persona. After a notable romantic disappointment, she and her dear friend Sophiette formed a paladin/priest team in training, and have been righting small, local wrongs. After they answered the call of Malfurion Stormrage to fight against the Nightmare, they finally confessed their continuing feelings for one another.
Dara is half-dedicated to the Light and half-dedicated to following Sophiette, and thus they have joined the Argent Crusade together. She is now undertaking more dangerous missions in the Eastern Plaguelands.
Relationships
Devon
Older brother and guardian after their parents' death. He failed to secure her a political marriage, so she set her own plans in motion. |
Mercy
A death knight she traveled through the Eastern Plaguelands with. Mercy makes her deeply uneasy and often needles her verbally, but Dara feels kinship with her through shared hardship. They died together to Deathwing, and Mercy is the first person Dara has ever resurrected (though she was only able to raise her back to unlife). They have hugged. |
Hugo
Sophiette's little brother and squire, accompanies them as long as it's not too dangerous. |
Leric
Older brother, tells outrageous stories. Currently with the army somewhere. |
Sophiette
Once and hopefully future fiancée, currently a dear friend and partner in adventure. They are romantically involved, but intend to do the courting properly. She sees Sophiette as her shining hero, and she's the one who resurrected Dara after their encounter with Deathwing. |
Alaisa
Casual friend, but they don't know one another well. |
Winnie
She's seen her around at parties and is sympathetic to her shy nature. Winnie also interviewed her for the Harvey case. |
Avrenne
Casual friend. They grew apart a little after Dara's awkwardness with Finley. |
Finley
Avrenne's butler, and a charming young man. Now seems to be a gentleman of leisure. They used to flirt, but Dara rebuffed him. |
Kehda
An unusual friend she met in the Scarlet Monastery. She likes to tell odd stories. |
Lireen
A trainer for Cobalt Company that she met in the Scarlet Monastery. She had good advice for Sophiette. |
Lucy
She was once a good friend in her age cohort, but she was sadly killed by the Lich King. |
Mayellen Mullby
Dara's friend who is a shopkeeper's daughter, a mercenary, and a warlock. How exciting and unusual! |
Raschal
A secret agent who has helped Dara and Sophiette on several missions. He claims he's there to babysit them, but really they work well together. |
Sintha
Friend in the nobility, excellent partner for tea, gossip, and/or fashion. |

Estel
Sister of Wisteria and likely to become a friend by association. |
Iphindra
A kaldorei woman Dara met at a tavern. Doesn't that sound so worldly? |
Jonas
A young man who was at a tavern get-together. |
Lathrik
A most unusual sort of paladin. He was suspicious of Dara. |
Lord Amerith

Linwel
A moonkin that protected her in Sophiette in the War Against the Nightmare when they were having a Moment. |
Priscilla Moore
Lucy's older sister and an amazing painter! Did you see her latest show? Dara simply loves her brushwork. |

A death knight who seems disconcertingly familiar with her family. They've spoken once in Light's Hope Chapel. Attached to Syarra. |
Lord Fallon
Dara's friend Sintha's brother, and now also the husband of her friend Avrenne. He's a charming man and delightful to flirt with, but Dara doesn't think he means anything by it. |
Syarra
A death knight she spoke with once in Light's Hope Chapel. Attached to Roper. Her being an elf seems to imply there might be some relation to Dara's friend Tarenar, but she hasn't brought it up yet. |
