Appearance
Dailu is a classically beautiful pandaren with black and white fur and long, thick black hair. Her eyes are jade green, beautifully shaped and bright with curiosity and intelligence. She speaks Common with a slight accent, and her voice has a pleasant timbre, somewhat deep but smooth, like the notes of a cello. To look at her, especially if noticing the beginnings of age lines around her eyes, one might wonder how it is she remains stubbornly single.

True to her heritage as a Wandering Isle pandaren, Dailu has a love of adventure and travel, perhaps even exceeding that of her countrymen in its intensity. Her adventurous spirit, when travel isn't possible, tends to express itself in wild partying and senseless acts of daring.
She is grounded by a love of teaching that pulls her toward more conservative routines - students require consistency, after all. Unfortunately, her love of teaching does not just extend to her students; those who know her often find themselves on the receiving end of unsolicited "lessons."
She is a good listener, sincere in her understanding of others' feelings. Her tendency to paraphrase and pinpoint exactly what one is feeling makes her friends and family feel heard, but if they think about it long enough, they might realize that their own probing questions are always deflected. Even her own parents never truly felt that they knew her - and Dailu likes that just fine. It isn't that she has anything in particular to hide; she simply prefers not to be deeply perceived.
History
Dailu was the only child of a jade crafter and a schoolteacher, and she was a promising student of the Tushui path from a young age.
As one can imagine, living on the back of a turtle is not an ideal life for someone who isn't comfortable with others knowing her business. Dailu is one of the rare Wandering Isle pandaren who successfully made a round-trip voyage to faraway lands, and was something of a celebrity briefly upon her return before people realized she was not going to share any personal stories of her journey.
Once the Gui Wei opened up relations between the Tushui pandaren and the Alliance, Dailu couldn't leave the island fast enough. Even if she could return, she never would.
