Appearance

Slightly taller than average, muscular build but not overly so. Brown hair, brown eyes, slightly ruddy complexion from time spent outdoors. Youthful appearance that matches his age. Pleasant-looking rather than handsome.

Personality

Cambrin is a relatively straight-forward, what-you-see-is-what-you-get person. He is fiercely loyal to his comrades and protective of others. He has mixed views on authority; he respects good leadership, but has no tolerance for poor leaders. He's distrustful of nobility as an institution, but individuals who demonstrate their worth earn his regard. He's got good self-discipline. He's somewhat shy and awkward around single women and very naive when it comes to romance.

History

Cambrin's family were tradesfolk in a town along the shores of Lake Lordaeron-all but his uncle, a sell-sword, whom he idolized. He was 13 when the Scourge hit and was evacuated along with many other children; being among the older ones sent south, he wound up being responsible for looking after a number of younger kids. His uncle was working in the east and presumably was taken early in the Scourge. His parents fell trying to help stem the tide and safeguard the evacuation.

His teen years were spent in the Stormwind orphanages, where he received a decent if basic education. One of his mentors and teachers, Brother Cinhil, helped instill his sense of discipline and find ways to channel his naturally protective nature in positive ways. Another, Sister Symbeline, taught him the basics of combat. He made friends in the orphanages but few close ones.

At 17 he joined the militia and spent time in Westfall where he met Ben Hazan. More recently he followed Ben to join the ranks of Cobalt Company, becoming one of it's front-line warriors.
