Callyna is a woman with a slightly round face and light brown skin. Her toothy smile shows particularly sharp canines. Her red hair is medium-length and wavy. She's petite but lean, with a muscular back.
She has a simple piercing on her left eyebrow.
Personality

Callyna always had two dreams: either taking over her parents’ flower shop or becoming an investigator for the city of Gilneas. She always idealized them, hoping to one day protect the innocent and arrest criminals. As an intuitive person, Callyna may have been a good addition to the police of her hometown. Nonetheless, the teenager isn’t the sharpest or most perceptive person, skills that may have been necessary for this line of work. Her gut feelings, while often true, she has understood to be useless without substantial proof, and Callyna now struggles to even share them.
This cautiousness affects other aspects of her life. Callyna prefers to avoid dangerous situations and takes a long time to consider every decision, avoiding putting herself in life-threatening situations. She knows that in the face of true fear or danger, she freezes, something she dislikes about herself.
Callyna is also cautious with what she shows to the world. Afraid to show too much of herself and her vulnerability, she often appears closed off but is more than willing to listen to others speak about themselves.
Callyna lives in a world of “what could have been”s, constantly wondering how different life could have turned out, dreaming of a future lost, and an idealized past. She is constantly inside her own head, reminiscing.
Because of all of this, Callyna may appear gloomy, at first. Interestingly, though, the young woman is extremely creative and expresses her feelings through floral arrangements and paintings, all more colorful than the other. Her work shows her deep appreciation for nature and her fantasies of a life that has never been. Colorful bouquets and paintings of bright landscapes are her signature style.
However, Callyna’s vivid imagination, while beautiful, also leads her to imagining the worst. Often, she starts wondering if she’s forgotten something, or convinces herself that something terrible might be just about to happen. The Gilnean still has a long way to go before she can differentiate her intuition saying that ‘something is happening’ from her mind telling her that ‘something is maybe going on.
History
Callyna is the daughter of two harvest witches, both colorful florists in the dark City of Gilneas. She spent all her days in "The Bloom's Glade", helping her mum with floral arrangements and her mother with the commercial aspects of the store. It was rare, but seldom, the teenage Callyna would be sent on special missions: venturing into the calm, nearby wilderness to gather wildflowers for her parents' work.
The day of the evacuation of Gilneas City was one such day. She narrowly escaped the disaster after her mother sent her with the family dog, Elsie, to collect some viburnum the couple needed…
