RP Hooks
- Lordaeron nobility: The Glenarvans were quite well-liked in the upper eschelons of Lordaeron's ruling class. Anyone from Lordaeron might know them; those in the army might know Audric.
- Stormwind nobility: Though the Glenarvans hold no titles in the kingdom of Stormwind, they did retain most of their wealth and are, as a courtesy granted for their service both in the wars and after, still addressed as Lords and Ladies. They continue to move in and among the nobility, while having no seat on the council. Additionally, her youngest sister was just introduced to society, and is making the social circuit as marriage-bait.
- Stormwind army: Her younger brother is a calvary lieutenant and might be known to anyone who recently served.
Appearance
Caliette is 5'7", with silver hair that is something of a trademark of the Glenarvan line. There are a few platinum blonds, but we don't talk about them. Her eyes are warm blue and have a tendancy to be disconcertingly direct. She carries herself with the grace that seems a requirement if one is to be of a noble line. Her default expression is 'pleasant'.
Personality
Caliette usually gives the impression of a calm and sensibly mature lady. She is quiet in most 'feminine' circles, though she does have conversation if it is required. Those who have observed her when the discussion turns to war or to Lordaeron will notice her demeanor becomes decisive, firm, and she is willing to answer any point with her own concise opinion.
History
Caliette is 26 years old, and was born in Lordaeron the same year as Prince Arthas. Her name is a nod to Arthas's older sister, Calia. She is the eldest of three children, and is well-educated and quite worldly. Her father was a soldier during the First and Second Wars, and after the Second, the family traveled extensively on behalf of King Terenas, serving as diplomats.
From a young age, Caliette has had a passion for soldiering that her parents found irritating. Although they acknowledged the presence of women on the battlefield and did not denigrate female soldiers, they would strongly have preferred their daughter pursue magical or priestly arts. Caliette was interested in neither.

Caliette as a pre-teen.
As can happen when strong-willed children clash with equally strong-willed parents, the subject became taboo. Caliette instead has trained with whomever will have her, though these lessons are always ended before they can be completed. Since the family returned to Stormwind when Gilneas built the wall, most lessons are halted when discovered by her family, and the erstwhile trainer either bought or warned off.
Caliette herself was engaged to a minor noble in Gilneas, bartered in an attempt to build strength between Lordaeron and Gilneas. When the wall was constructed, the betrothal was considered broken. However, with no formal declaration from her fiance, no other offers can be entertained. This seems to suit Caliette just fine.
Relationships
| Lord Audric Glenarvan Father. Caliette lives on stories of her father's battles in the wars. He rarely obliges her these days, but her hero-worship for him remains. |
| Leithan Glenarvan Younger brother, a calvary Lieutenant currently serving in the Stormwind army in Northrend. |
| Aubrienna Glenarvan Youngest sister, bit of fluff, likes the court life and Cali is happy to leave her to it. |

| Title | Summary |
|---|---|
| (2023-05-23) Children's Week Faire | Stormwind's elite gather ostensibly to support the Stormwind Orphanage, but really to gossip and maneuver regarding potential marriages and the House of Nobles' open seats. |
| (2022-06-06) Seeking Employment | A letter from Caliette Glenarvan to Captain Jocoza Sparkwire. This is not as fauncy as handwriting might be, but it is quite pretty. |
