Appearance
Lena is a woman in her late twenties with long, pale blonde hair and earnest grey-blue eyes. She's a little thin in a way that hints at previous hardship, and has hands roughened from physical work. These days, she moves with quiet confidence and an easy smile that still hides more than it reveals.
Personality
Resourceful - Amiable - Tough - Ambitious
Lena learned from hard experience that she needs to look after herself, because no one else will. She has been used to doing this from a position of weakness, relying on charm and careful strategy to make a place for herself. Old habits die hard, even though she's now earned herself a place as a warlock in Cobalt Company, as well as with the Warlock Ethics Bureau and the Fallon Fleet.
If there's anything she's certain of, though, it's that everything you rely on can vanish in the blink of an eye. She's still careful, still nurtures connections that might help her in lean times, and still keeps careful track of what favors she might have available to call in. She is determined to survive in the chaos of Azeroth for as long as she can.
This character is in a committed romance, and thus not available for romance.
History
Lena grew up in northern Silverpine, and she lost her family during the Third War. She joined the refugees following Lady Proudmoore, traveling with them to Kalimdor. As a single young woman without a profession, she stuck close to the army and worked at odd jobs, like cooking, cleaning, and eventually other things.
After the army's victory at Mount Hyjal, she stayed on working in Theramore for several years. As time passed, she started looking for an exit strategy, and thought she found one in an affectionate, rich warlock named Kade Morrow. She went back to the Eastern Kingdoms with him, and things went rather worse than she'd hoped. She knew extracting herself safely would be a challenge, and so she quietly started learning her boyfriend's trade on her own. Eventually, she summoned her first demon and fled to Ironforge.
That's when she joined Cobalt Company, where she first began to make a place and a name for herself. Eventually, her ex-boyfriend vanished from Stormwind warlock society, and Lena became more prominent, working with people such as the 7th Legion's Zath Tyrrell. She accompanied Cobalt to Outland as a part of a forward squad, and then again to Northrend. She was recruited by Vice Admiral Fallon to serve as a warlock for his fleet, and became a founding member of the Warlock Ethics Bureau. Her personal life was also turning around, as she now had many friends she can trust, and a girlfriend, Terrineth.
Not everything continued to improve. After a positively-intended gesture from her girlfriend had potentially disastrous consequences for her career and reputation, they broke up. During the work in Northrend, multiple people were vocal about their distaste in working with someone of her profession. After the death of the Lich King, this formed part of the motivation for Lena to leave Cobalt Company (on good terms) and move to working with the Fleet full-time.
