RP Hooks
- Gilnean Aristocrat: While of common blood, the Reeve family was very wealthy and well respected in Gilnean society both for their lucrative trade enterprise as well as the number of skilled naval officers it produced. Anyone familiar with the goings on of the Gilnean aristocracy may know of Del or her family.
- Second War Philanthropy: The Reeve family were staunch supporters of the Alliance and were eager to offer aid even when Greymane was not. People from the other human kingdoms, especially Lordaeron, may have benefited from aid sent by the Reeves or brought to them from another on one of their ships.
- Rebellion: She joined the rebels with her brother, in opposition to isolationism. This may improve or diminish her reputation, depending on a character's point of view.
- Maritime Family: The Reeve family owned a sizable fleet of ships which they used to transport goods between Kul Tiras and the continent. Their business was very successful and they were quite wealthy. However, in the wake of the Forsaken invasion, these assets have been considerably diminished.
Appearance
Del has shoulder-length brown hair, often wind-tousled, and eyes the blue-grey of the sea. She's slightly below average in height, and has a compact and athletic build. She's thirty-seven years old.
Her worgen form is grey and black. She is proud of its strength, and she has no shame in wearing it. Still, she concedes that there are circumstances where her human form gets a better professional and social response.
Personality
Calculating ⬥ Persistent ⬥ Courteous ⬥ Observant
Having been raised in the same situation, Del carries the same courteous, diplomatic demeanour as her little brother Eulysses. She differs from him with her keen business sense, head for numbers, and interest in networking. She sometimes has a hard thing letting things go, be it a grudge, a lost contract or a sunken ship. This has helped her endure through hardship, but it can also be a source of conflict.
This character can be romanced.
History
Robin Amadella Reeve was born the first child of the Reeve family. The Reeves owned and operated a considerably sized fleet of ships which sailed between Kul Tiras and all along the western coast of the Eastern Kingdoms doing trade between the various human nations. Their business was highly successful and the Reeve family was quite wealthy.
The girl benefited from a very privileged and aristocratic upbringing. Being safely tucked away in Gilneas, she was spared from much of the horrors of the Second War. However, the Reeves were staunch supporters of the Alliance and sent a great deal of money and supplies to Lordaeron and the other kingdoms to help the war effort. This is something Del took to heart, with the lesson that it was important for the kingdoms of humanity to support one another.
She was given a very good classical education in a variety of subjects, and was further trained to eventual take over the business of the family's merchant fleet. She took to sailing well enough, but her true strength was in business. Building connections, managing contracts, and keeping all the moving pieces of a merchant fleet moving in the correct directions. She always assumed she would marry one day, but she planned to establish her career first. Unfortunately for her, her twenties and now thirties would be full of crises.
Her family's business was sharply curtailed when Gilneas officially withdrew from the Alliance in Year 16 and began their policy of isolation. The Reeve family, Del included, were greatly displeased by this action. With the merchant fleet largely grounded, Del turned back towards military subjects and joined her brother in Darius Crowley's rebellion. She was imprisoned with him and the rest of their comrades, and only released when the worgen situation prompted the King's leniency.
It wasn't long into the conflict when she was bitten, and she spent years as a feral worgen. When she was recovered through alchemy and the druidic ceremony, it was to find that her fleet was reduced to four ships - the clipper Peregrine, the frigate Nightshade, and the cargo ships Sable and Ilston. She is determined not to let the family business die, whatever the cost.
