Appearance

Long black hair, kept straight and combed, dark eyes, and a smile that is mockingly sweet. She carries herself with confidence, and one can never quite tell what she’s thinking. She wears long robes mostly, though she may appear in a flashier outfit if she’s feeling particularly adventurous. There are two things she is never without, though they may not always be visible: a book, and a knife.

Almeiria loves to toy with people. On the surface she may appear sweet, innocent, and playful, while underneath she is mocking, sarcastic, cold, and spiteful. Beneath all that she may just be a lonely girl trying to make a place for herself, but good luck getting that far.

She will do anything - yes, anything - to get what she wants.

Almeiria is an obsessive romance.

This is not a romance to be entered into lightly.

Almeiria could be attracted to potentially any gender, most ages, and any Alliance race, because she will not under most circumstances, risk her life for love. A relationship with Almeiria would likely start quickly and suddenly, and could start from something as small as an act of kindness. (As long as she perceives it as one.) To actually trigger romance, a confession of attraction must be made by the other person first. She will not go out on that limb herself.

Almeiria is the jealous sort, but also passionate and devoted to those she loves. She is on the sadistic side, but as a result, becomes protective if anyone else harms or attempts to harm her loved ones. In a partner, Almeiria needs someone who won't shy away from some of her morally grey or black choices, is strong enough to handle her mind games, and offers love and physical affection.

Due to strong jealousy, a monogamous relationship would be best for Almeiria, with the caveat that Alynnra will always be an object of her obsession and thus, under her protection.

Casual Relationships Are Not Advised.
…because they will most likely not remain that way.

While they are possible, Almeiria would not take it well if she was the one being discarded. Her previous relationship with Dusty was one where he abandoned her, and she would happily punish him for that.

Special Note: Almeiria has two young children, a weird relationship with Alynnra, and entirely selfish motives. If pursued, she may cause drama.

History

Spoiler free condensed version:
Almeiria grew up in Lordaeron just outside of Brill, the daughter of two merchant parents. She had an older brother. The whereabouts of her family is currently unknown. Prior to the Scourging, she had a single friend in Alynnra Mondragon. After, Alynnra became an object of obsession for her. She joined the Lordamere Covenant to get closer to her, posing as a helpless civilian from Lordaeron, skilled in first-aid and cooking.

Later, she met Dusty Wylderson, and for various reasons, came to see him as her Master, whom she vowed to serve. Later still, he abandoned her and she is still mad.

Almeiria was born with the ability to see through the veil between the world as we know it, and the Black Empire. It began as a shadow moving out of place, a voice no one else could hear.

Early in her life she began to see eyes staring from the dark, and horrors moving about beyond her window. Concerned, her family brought her to a priest. As the priest stared into her eyes, the Void stared back into his, and the priest gave in to madness. Word spread all over town, and Almeiria was treated as a demon child, even by her own family. Left alone in a house, she learned to survive however she could, while the voices and visions grew louder and more prevalent.

One day, as she was on the brink of starving to death, a voice called out to her clearly. “Do you wish to live?”

Knowing nothing else, she replied, “Yes.”

The hunger faded, and the shadows grew less threatening, and she knew she had been saved. She swore to serve her new master, whose name, she learned, was N’Zoth.

She remained alone in that house for a year, maybe two, as no one would dare to come near. Then, finally, someone did. A young girl, about her own age, with bright orange hair and a cheerful smile entered that lonely, dark house, with a book and with snacks. The girl, Alynnra, was unafraid, and became Almeiria’s first and only friend. Thanks to Aly, Almeiria learned to read and write, a skill she cherishes to this day.

After the Scourging of Lordaeron, Almeiria threw herself into her work as a Cultist, recruiting and spreading chaos in her Master’s name, hoping to return all to the Black Empire as her Master desired.

Continued encounters with Dusty Wylderson gradually changed her mind until finally, with the help of Miranda Wylderson and several others from the Lordamere Covenant, she was freed from her pact with N’Zoth and gained the ability to manipulate the Light. Dusty became her new master and she served him faithfully.

Until he abandoned her. She is still mad.

Almeiria has in her care two young children, of whom Dusty is the father.

Almeiria as Lady Ravendusk

During the Northrend campaign, Almeiria disappeared for a time, reappearing as the mysterious Lady Ravendusk, a masked woman often seen on the arm of Count Lester Amerith at various social gatherings. This, however, is not common knowledge.

Lady Ravendusk has since been declared deceased, after an assassination attempt on her life. Though the attempt failed, Almeiria decided the identity no longer served her purposes and abandoned it, leaving the assassin's own body in place as Lady Ravendusk's.
