RP Hooks

  • A cure?: Abigael seems to believe that the Fel, as a natural opposition to the arcane that created the worgens of Silverpine Forest and a corruptor of nature, may be the way to cure the curse that has befallen her people.
  • Secret past: It's very rare for Abigael to be open about her family being full of farmhands. Maybe someone would know, however…

Appearance

Abigael, as a human, is a short-haired, strawberry blonde woman. She's quite petite, and frail looking. She uses reading glasses, and she's often reading, she wears them more often than not. As she rarely emotes, her face seems frozen and stern.

As a worgen, Abigael is only a tad taller, but keeps her glasses and frozen expression. Her fur is mostly white with some dark patches.

Personality

Self-sacrificing ⬥ Scholarly ⬥ Vain ⬥ Conservative

Abigael has a big ego, but knows to keep it in check to keep it to stay mostly under the radar. She takes great care of her appearance, and has the utmost confidence in her abilities. Said abilities she uses to protect those in need in a maternal way.

Abigael is fairly adverse to change, her life having seen too much of them already, and tries to keep things as traditional as possible.

As a bookworm, Abigael likes to study just anything, and enjoys delving deeper in every subject. No information is factual until she's done her research and looked into the question first.

History

Abigael Fenrhald, born from a family of farmhands, was never meant to be a country girl. Very early on, she showed interest in more theoretical aspects of life. She put a lot of efforts in her education, and took pride in it. Her parents would do everything int heir power to foster that aspect of her personality, although this hobby of hers was expensive.

Taking on a maternal role for her siblings and cousins, Abigael was cherished by all in her family. As a favorite of both adults and children, her ego developed quite considerably.

During her teenage years, the girl was gifted a wonderful birthday present: everyone in her family had come together to pay for her studies in Dalaran. She was to become a mage. She left her small rural town in Gilneas and entered the walls of Dalaran.

When talks of closing off her homeland from the outside her, she took a little too long to make her decision. Going home, or continuing her studies her family had worked so hard for? In the end, the choice was taken for her, and the walls of Gilneas were closed to the girl.

After a few years, she settled in Southshore to make herself useful while still studying with the Kirin Tor. During the attack from the Forsaken, a choice came to her once more. Would she fight and die, only to come back as one of the undead, or would she drink worgen blood, turning into one of the beasts, able to fight the undead until her very last breath. This time, she didn't allow time to make a choice for herself. She would sacrifice her life as a human to the curse of the worgen, if it meant others could avoid both that fate and undeath.

Abigael fought valiantly.

Afterwards, the young woman searched for a cure from her new blight. Unable to find one in the arcane path, she turned considered a new point of view. If the curse of the worgen was originally druidic - thus came from a natural source - she would study that which corrupts and kills nature. A type of magic that corrupts and destroys nature, while still keeping humans alive. By taking on a second curse - that of the Fel - Abigael hopes to single out, corrupt and wither that which is worgen within herself and others, to free the victims of that lycanthropic disease.

Relationships

Richmond Fenrhald
"My cousin. We were reunited after the whole ordeal with the Forsaken, soon after we both became worgens. I was the one who taught everything he knows, basically, but last time I'd seen him he was only a boy. We don't really that much in common anymore, and it made for a rather akward reunion."
