Zeke Lambert was born in Westfall and lived there until his family fled to Stormwind while he was still in his early teens. He joined the Stormwind army as a foot soldier and served during the aftermath of the Second War. Zeke married Sabitha at the beginning of the Third War.

Zeke was largely regarded as an unattractive man, with close-set small eyes (one set higher than the other), a long and oft-broken nose that was flat at its tip, thin lips, a long jaw and chin, and a flop of blond hair that looked like someone had dropped hay on his head and neglected to secure it properly.

"I'm not handsome? What a horrible rumor!"

But his demeanor said he couldn't care less about how he looked. He was funny and engaging and charming, and was rarely single for long. He had a reputation for being a storyteller, and could turn any simple event into an epic story, even if it bore little resemblance to the actual event itself. He never tired of telling stories, and could often be found at the nearest army campfire, sitting on a log and spinning a tale to a grinning audience.

Those who weren't around to witness their courtship heard the most outrageous stories of how Zeke had met and wooed Sabitha. He won her in a poker match against a group of slavers, he rescued her from the hoard of a dragon, she was actually a dryad he had won in a game of riddles against the dryad queen, that he had found a talking sword in an ogre's cache and it taught him how to dress well and helped him get 10 gold so he could convince her father to let them marry.

Zeke died on his wife's lap as a result of injuries sustained during the Battle for Mount Hyjal. Priests were unable to resurrect him.

Relationships

Sabitha Lambert
Wife. Zeke was madly, passionately in love with his wife and never missed an opportunity to say it or show it.
Mordecai Harbrooke (now Aspenwood)
Zeke had little enough to do with the quiet young infirmary priest, though Zeke never had acquaintences, only friends. He greeted Mordecai as he did everyone else, with a wave and a grin as if they were old friends recently reunited.
