Tula Quickstitch was Jocoza Sparkwire's wife, until her death in the irradiation of Gnomeregan. She was eccentric as gnomes go, fond of foreign romance novels, drawing and other creative pursuits. She and Jo were friends from childhood, roommates after they moved out of their parents' homes, lovers, and then finally married.
Her name, however, derives from her very practical innovations in sewing-machine technology. She owned a shop called "Tula's Threads". It mostly got by financially with practical gnomish clothing but also provided a workshop where she could dream up new wearable creations.
