Rix Flashcraft was Jocoza Sparkwire's husband until his death in a trogg ambush during the invasion of Gnomeregan. A soldier and engineer since the second war, he specialized in traps and explosives, from which he earned his name. Despite his skill in combat, he is calm and considerate in personality.
Jo joined his engineering team during the Second War defense, and he assisted in the development of her teleporting squirrel (through which she met Elohad). Their long hours working together led to friendship. As it seemed to be progressing to something more, Jo introduced him to Tula. After the siege, they were married.
