Neila Shane is a 52-year-old woman from Lordaeron originally. She and her husband, Tomas, were farmers but moved to Stormwind around y19 to escape the Scourge, becoming house servants to a wealthy merchant family. Tomas worked in the garden, Neila was an undercook.

As the years went by, both were steadily promoted in the household. By year 25, Tomas was the house butler and Neila was nanny to the young children of the house. When Deathwing attacked, the entire family was wiped out, including Tomas. Neila, then homeless, moved out to Westfall with other Stormwind refugees.

She was found there by Ivrianna Atley, who found her through various connections in Stormwind. Neila, happy to no longer be homeless, agreed to move to Eastvale and take up residence in a small, one-room cabin and become the nanny to Ivri and Dane’s two young children.

Employer. While working for a small family in Eastvale might seem a step down from working for a wealthy family, Neila is pleased to be working with a Knight of Stormwind. She refers to Dane as Sir or Sir Dane.
Ivrianna Atley
Employer. It's a plus that Ivri is from Lordaeron originally. Ivri has asked to be referred to as just Ivri, but Neila forgets frequently and calls her ma'am. Ivri doesn't correct her, not wanting to make it awkward by insisting on something Neila's not comfortable with.
