A member of the House of Nobles, Lord Lysander has served the Alliance long enough for the scandal of his marriage to be as good as forgotten: he married Renna Alaeth, a young lady from a merchant family that wasn't even that wealthy, certainly below his station. He served the army as a tactician for many years, and retired to behind a desk for good when he suffered a permanent injury to his left arm.
His decisions are known to be cold but often fair. He has no love for the Horde, or for death knights. He has three children, although he has pinned all of his hopes on Kyris, the eldest.
