Romantic ⬥ Gentle ⬥ Insecure ⬥ Anxious

Kendyll Ashewood is the eldest child of Baron Leor and Baroness Vianca Ashewood. Unlike his stern, domineering father, Kendyll is a gentle soul. He has no interest in the ways of war that his father has tried to instill in him. Kendyll prefers the art of the quill: poetry and prose are his weapons, wordplay and debate his armor.

Kendyll believes firmly in the power of the word, and wishes to fill the world with love and joy. He has fanciful notions of romance, and some might call him a bit of a rake, as he has left several broken-hearted men and women behind him. He does not mean to hurt anyone. Kendyll just has some lofty notions about what kind of person his ideal partner is…and he is easily distracted by a beautiful face that inspires his words. At the very least, he is discreet in his affairs.

One day, Kendyll will inherit his father's title. He does want to make his parents proud, but he has no real interest in the responsibility it will bring. While he mourns the loss of their homeland, in a way it has brought him great relief. Even if he becomes the baron, there is no more barony to be responsible for.

Kendyll escaped the worgen curse, but he saw firsthand the devastation and horror it wrought. Already a nervous person, Kendyll is rather fearful of the worgen. He tries to heed his mother's wisdom and find sympathy for them, but he has not yet managed to push aside the visions of people he knew and loved being torn apart.

Relationships

Leor Ashewood
Kendyll loves and respects his father, but he is also afraid of him. He doesn't fear Leor will physically hurt him, but he fears his disappointment…and Leor is always disappointed in his son.
Vianca Ashewood
Vianca has been Kendyll's biggest supporter in his pursuit of writing. But he can sense that she doesn't entirely understand his fascinations.
Kenelly Ashewood
Kendyll used to be much closer to his sister. She loved listening to him recite his poetry, and they were both so good about keeping one another's secrets. But then she turned into a horrific monster and slaughtered two of his lovers, along with much of the household staff. He consciously knows it was the curse, not truly her…but he cannot unsee what he saw.
