As a new arrival on Pandaria's shores, Costentyn Shine made the mistake of feeding the tanuki. Now Shine has a tanuki. Did he want a tanuki? No. But he has a tanuki.

Initially, Bun refused to let Shine out of his sight in case there were snacks. Now he refuses to let Shine out of his sight because he has become an Adventure!!! Tanuki!!!
