RP Logs for 'Season 14'

(2024-10-06) Throne of the Tides (S14 E13 - White Squad Log) — White Squad embarks on their final confrontation with Azshara's forces in the battle for the Tidehunter's throne. Neptulon could stand to have better manners about it. Several people try on stylish squid-hats. Nobody likes them.

(2024-09-22) Graduates of Twilight's Hammer Year 28 (S14 E12 Blue Squad) — Blue Squad completes the Twilight's Hammers final initiation courses, learning valuable lessons such as always make sure your dog has more heads than their opponent and that ogres make the worst CSI forensics labs in all of Azeroth, and exploit the weaknesses of the cult against them to fulfill their mission. 8300~ words.

(2024-09-15) Meet Twilight's Hammers Newest Recruits (S14 E11 Blue Squad) — Blue Squad is given a mission from the dragon aspect Ysera to infiltrate the Twilight's Hammer cult and free Jarod Shadowsong, a kaldorei man capable of leading ancients and demigods. His captivity is deep enough in that with the forces of the cult, the only way in is through the front door with paperwork as new initiates into one of the most dangerous fanatical cults in Azeroth. What could possibly go wrong? 5400~ words.

(2024-09-08) We've Crossed The Threshold Into Hell (S14 E10 Blue Squad) — Blue Squad follows Tortolla's wisdom and vengeance in the fight against Twilight's Hammer, aiding the Guardians of Mt. Hyjal as they hold a still fire-ravaged stand with a particularly tenacious captain, and following the cult through the elemental gates once more to finally face their true nemesis: Nemesis. No baby animals charmed in this RP were harmed. 6200~ words.

(2024-09-01) A Tale of Two Turtles (S14 E9 - Blue Squad Log) — Blue Squad tackles the on going destruction of Mt. Hyjal head on, from more poor wet-nosed creatures to the corruption of the Wild Gods, and find that they have the potential to make powerful allies capable of granting the years they need to save the mountain. 6300~ words.

(2024-09-01) - Breakthroughs (S14 E9 - White Squad Log)White Squad is introduced to the latest in naval military hardware -- nice job, Niksi! -- and then find some unwelcome surprises waiting in a very dark sea. Niksi's surprise may not be the most unwelcome one, but it sure is a surprise. (To Niksi, and absolutely no one else.) Estel does not say she told her so. Almeiria believes there is altogether too much excretion going on.

(2024-08-25) The Allies Arrive (S14 E8 - White Squad Log) — White Squad pitches in with the effort to signal for rescue, and then while they wait they kill some time with a final vision of the past in the ruins of the city of Vashj'ir. It's a real good news/bad news kind of day.

(2024-08-25) Reunion, With News and Potatoes — The night of White Squad's rescue from beneath the sea, Ben and Ismene reunite with Lena Coit to catch everyone on both sides up about what's been going on in the world. It's a lot. There's a lot going on in the world. Fortunately, there's also food.

(2024-08-25) Red Demon Redemption (S14 E8 - Blue Squad Log) — Blue Squad tackles the inferno situation on Mt. Hyjal, from saving wet-nosed creatures to soliciting the help from a satyr who might still have enough of a soul in him to lend his aid. Or maybe not. 7200~ words.

(2024-08-25) Don't Go Mad, Then — When White Squad makes it up to the rescue fleet, Florande seeks out a colleague (Kyris) to return a very precious sword. They talk a little about what has happened and where they will go from here. ~1400 words

(2024-08-20) An Unwise War (White Squad - S14E7) — White Squad is missing their leader, but surely they can handle a simple fact-finding shaman-vision mission, right? While they find disturbing facts about the numbers and intentions of the naga (who have been, indeed, fighting our old enemies the Kvaldir), a certain impatient Admiral moves ahead recklessly with attack plans. The squad helps as they can, with a plan that spirals rapidly out of control. ~7000 words

(2024-08-11) Everything is Hard to Pronounce (S14 E6 - White Squad Log) — White Squad goes clamming and experiments with fish pheromones before being dispatched on a military scouting mission that turns into a tour of ancient elven history. Did you know that a group of stingrays is called a fever? Did you know that there are anglerfish murlocs? Did you know that the plural of Vashj is Vashesses? One of those things is untrue.

(2024-08-02) Fifty Percent of a Rescue (S14 E5 - White Squad Log) — White Squad ventures into the body of an Ancient to cure her of some particularly pernicious parasites. (Naga. They're naga.) It is as cool and as gross as it sounds. They are finally reunited with some old friends. Niksi has a great time. Almeiria's had better. We should probably stop talking about flesh tunnels.

(2024-08-01) Birds in Flight — Mordecai flies over to Aviana's shrine to meet up with Caspis, who gives him a tour. And then a test flight. Mordecai is not scared of heights and hippogryphs might be the best, actually. ~3700 words.

(2024-07-30) Undersea Creatures — Bran, Florande and Niksi discuss Nespirah, goblins, and other things under the sea. ~1900 words.

(2024-07-28) Wind Beneath My Wings (Blue Squad Log S14 E4) — Blue Squad tackles the elemental problem of earth, wind, and fire, and discovers how Twilight's Hammer has managed to get such unrestricted access to the highways to hell of Azeroth. Meanwhile, the cult has been working on another god-swap, this time targeting Aviana, the Wild God patron of the Druids of the Talon. Caspis is called to action, and Blue Squad won't stop until Aviana is safe, even if that means playing the long egg hatching game. 6500~ words.

(2024-07-28) A Pearl of Wisdom (White Squad Log - S14 E4) — White Squad does some chores for the shamans at Silver Tide Hollow, and then hear from an old (relatively speaking) comrade. And then they get some REALLY big news.

(2024-07-25) Reporting to an Admirable — The Cobalt Eye (Annibeth, Ionala, Jonas, Maisha and Mayellen) travel to Fallon House to discuss what they've uncovered about the reasons behind the recent naga activity.

(2024-07-24) Ragnaros of the Sea — Ben, Bran, Estel, Florande and Niksi find some time to talk in their latest underwater cave. They discuss the repair needs of Niksi's SHART, as well as the recent information they've uncovered regarding the goals of the naga.

(2024-07-21) Tasty Bits (White Squad Log - S14 E3) — White Squad finds a crucial piece of information that helps them fight back against the naga, and learns what became of a lost comrade. Then there are even more naga, and what seems like some Real Bad News. Almeiria is concerned about the dietary leanings of naga; Niksi is baffled by human units of measure; coral is not a plant. Neither are sea cucumbers.
